Senior Data Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to provide critical support in the delivery of Safety Data Analysis and Reporting as required for business needs.

About the Role

This role is focused on developing and maintaining robust systems governance principles supported by processes and procedures ensuring timely verification and reporting.

  • Develop and implement effective systems and processes to ensure accurate and compliant data reporting.
  • Foster alignment of safety and sustainability data reporting and analytics across business functions and units.
  • Provide support for SDIA audit requirements in relation to safety and sustainability data processes and reporting.
  • Serve as the key interface between digital solutions, stakeholders, and the safety team to drive strategic outcomes and projects enhancing safety performance.
  • Plan and facilitate user training for digital Safety Management Systems.
  • Offer specialist advice on integrating Safety Management System technology and reporting systems to advance innovation and support business initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support to help manage, develop, review, and implement Safety, Sustainability, and Quality management systems (Safety Management Systems) aligning with company objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • A strong understanding of regulatory reporting for safety and environmental requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position delivering outstanding results and compliance.
  • Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and managing Safety, Sustainability & Quality Management systems and IT systems.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient user of Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and other advanced Excel functions.
  • High attention to detail when reviewing multiple data sets.
  • Proficient user experience in Microsoft Suite, with a strong emphasis on Power BI and Microsoft automation.
  • Experience in understanding and documenting business process flows, procedures, forms, and other supporting documentation.
  • Ability to interrogate systems, analyze data, and produce high-standard reports.
