Job Description

Forklift service technicians are in high demand across various industries including manufacturing logistics and construction.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a junior mechanic to join our team as a forklift service technician.

As part of the team you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance services repairs and modifications on mobile plant equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units in a timely manner
  • Maintaining professional level of customer service with all clients and customers
  • Accurate record-keeping of job sheets timesheets and administrative components

To succeed in this role you will require:

  • A current driver's licence
  • Relevant trade qualification e.g. Forklift Mechanic Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic
  • Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar industry
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong mechanical skills with ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High level of physical fitness due to manual handling requirements
