**Sports Coach Opportunity**

We are seeking a motivated and experienced sports coach to deliver our Secondary School Sports Program for the basketball season.

Training after school (3:30pm - 5:00pm) will mostly take place at Sydney University, with away locations varying from week to week.

The successful applicant will work at either the St Andrew's House Campus or the Sydney University Sports and Aquatic Centre.

Key requirements include a strong understanding of basketball skills and strategies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.

A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification, or being prepared to obtain these, are requirements.

Preference may be given to applicants with prior experience in a school setting, but this is not essential.

As a sports coach, you will play a key role in shaping the sporting culture and values of our students. You will be expected to model our school values and behaviours and uphold the Independent Sporting Association Code of Conduct.

Through ongoing professional development and guidance from senior coaching staff, we aim to create a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth and excellence.
