Job Summary:
This role involves the management of finished goods requirements across a large network of suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels. The Supply Chain Purchasing Specialist will play a crucial part in maintaining effective inventory levels and reducing costs associated with freight and obsolete stock.
Key Responsibilities:- Forecast and manage finished goods requirements to ensure delivery performance
- Maintain optimal stock levels across distribution centres using DRP and SAP
- Coordinate import deliveries with custom clearance agents
- Manage and resolve blocked or parked invoices with suppliers and accounts
- Analyse inventory data to minimize freight costs, touchpoints, and obsolete or expired stock
- Maintain accurate SAP master data to support JIT and safety stock levels across all distribution centres
- Lead supplier reviews and support team training and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong SAP and DRP knowledge, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in supply chain / production planning and inventory management
- Customer-focused mindset with clear, professional communication skills
- Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Process-oriented with a focus on efficiency and standardisation
