Aviation Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Maintenance Professional to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support base maintenance checks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct troubleshooting and rectification of line defects arising during flight operations
  • Availability for AOG call-outs to rectify fleet defects across Queensland
  • Ensure compliant management, storage, and usage of tooling and ground support equipment
  • Contribute to business improvement and quality programs, as well as enterprise risk management activities
  • Comply with all Occupational, Health, Safety, and Welfare policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Proven experience with turboprop engines, specifically those used in RFDS QLD aircraft
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to learn new computer applications
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment related to aircraft maintenance
