Job OverviewThis casual position requires early starts (7:00am) to provide care, support and assistance to clients in Rockhampton or Yeppoon. You will be working in client's homes, following their care plans, to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with their care requirements, following their care plans and preferences
- Support clients with transportation and community access
- Monitor clients' condition and report any changes in behavior or condition
- Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance, including administering medication, manual handling, and domestic assistance
- Completed Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing (or similar) or studying towards equivalent qualification
- Experience working alongside clients with cognitive and/or physical limitations
- Own vehicle with Queensland Provisional Green or above clear Driver's Licence, comprehensive insurance, and service history
- Current First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- Able to obtain positive notice in legislatively required personal history check in line with service stream compliance requirements
The successful applicant will receive a salary of $38.26 - $40.25 per hour (SCHADS Home Care Aged Care Casual L3), plus superannuation and generous salary packaging available. Additionally, you'll have access to a range of benefits, including:
