Volunteer Dentist Opportunity

Are you a dedicated dentist looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Volunteer Dentist to work alongside our dental nurse in offering high-quality, pro bono dental care at our clinic.

The role involves conducting a pro bono dental clinic, providing dental care to clients referred from Palmerston Farm TC, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will also create a welcoming atmosphere where clients feel comfortable discussing their oral health concerns without fear of judgment.

As a Volunteer Dentist, you will commit to:

  • Conducting a pro bono dental clinic with the aim of treating 5 clients per clinic (negotiable).
  • Providing dental care to clients referred from Palmerston Farm TC while ensuring highest standards of treatment and safety.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in line with Australian healthcare regulations.
  • Creating a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their oral health concerns.
  • Signing and abiding by relevant policies and procedures, including those related to infection control.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a dentist.
  • A compassionate, welcoming, and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
  • Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality.
  • Current professional indemnity insurance covering dental practice in Australia.
