Community Engagement Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in shaping vibrant communities where individuals thrive.

About the Role

This is a hands-on career in the property industry where you will be responsible for designing and executing engaging programs that foster community, connection, and wellbeing, while ensuring high-quality service standards across every initiative.

  • Program Development: Create and lead inclusive, high-quality social, wellness, and educational initiatives that reflect resident interests and build community.
  • Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day oversight of casual team members, including rostering, training, supervising, and tracking performance.
  • Resident Support: Support resident wellbeing through proactive engagement, incident follow-up, and partnerships with local/university support services.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Build relationships with vendors, contractors, and local businesses to enhance resident life and deliver value-added initiatives.
  • Operations & Compliance: Manage initiative budgets, ensure compliance with policies and WHS standards, and capture reporting on attendance, satisfaction, and outcomes.
  • Marketing & Outreach: Collaborate with internal teams to promote initiatives across digital and onsite channels, ensuring alignment with marketing and leasing objectives.
About You

You're an energetic, creative, and detail-oriented professional with proven experience in community engagement, event management, or hospitality. You enjoy leading others and thrive in dynamic, people-focused environments. With strong organisational skills and a solutions-driven mindset, you balance creativity with operational discipline. Above all, you are passionate about creating inclusive and impactful resident experiences.

Requirements
  • Experience in community engagement, event management, or hospitality.
  • Previous experience in leading or supervising casual/part-time teams.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working flexibly, including some evenings or weekends for initiative delivery.
  • Eligible for a National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.
