At ESS, we are committed to providing exceptional support services to clients operating in remote and challenging environments.

We are currently seeking experienced Relief Site Managers to join our team and provide on-site services across regional NSW.

  • Full-time permanent employment with a roster of 14 days on, 7 days off
  • Sydney or Brisbane as preferred points of hire
  • Salary range: $110,000 - $120,000 (dependent on experience)

The Role:

As a Relief Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing village operations alongside the site manager or as back-to-backs, ensuring the delivery of catering and cleaning services.

  • Maintaining consistent operational performance, driving quality, cost, people capability, and performance
  • Driving regular and sustainable improvement in safety performance
  • Fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
  • Passion for staff engagement and development, modelling positive working relationships, demonstrating trust, care, and respect
  • Work roster of 14 days on, 7 days off with Sydney or Brisbane as preferred points of hire

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in village management or relief management positions in remote settings
  • Strong and decisive leadership skills with the ability to build effective and engaged teams
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines with competing priorities
  • Ability to identify and implement new innovations within facilities management, hospitality, or hotel services industries
  • Experience in staff recruitment, retention, rostering, and subsequent management of both permanent and casual workforces
  • Chef qualifications desirable, as is proven management experience in the hospitality field, ideally within catering and/or accommodation services environments
  • White card required for site entry
