Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team and work with diverse caseloads in community settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in speech pathology and a passion for working with individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an allocated caseload and provide timely therapeutic services
  • Deliver speech pathology services to participants in schools, homes, and the local community
  • Use clinical observations, standardised assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and mentor graduates and early career clinicians
  • Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience as a Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
