Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior School Operations Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to senior leadership on policy and procedural issues, ensuring that schools and the regional office have quality systems for complaint management and internal and external communications.

About This Role
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-level strategic and operational advice to senior leaders on a wide range of policy and procedural issues.
  • Process enquiries and complaints in accordance with the Department's Customer Complaints Management Policy and procedure.
  • Work with other key personnel to prepare briefings, responses, submissions, and correspondence to senior officials.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation procedures in line with the department's data collection and privacy requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality administrative systems and processes, leading by example and seeking feedback from senior personnel.
  • Contribute to a team environment and provide guidance for workloads to ensure deadlines and commitment to quality service are maintained.
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and promotion of key communication channels such as SharePoint, websites, teams meetings, newsletters, and email groups.
