Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Wine Connoisseur to join our team at Dan Murphy's. As a Wine Connoisseur, you will play a critical role in creating a distinctive customer experience by actively sharing your passion for wine and investing time into every customer moment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a tailored journey of discovery for customers, centered around education on product and loyalty benefits
- Produce powerful tasting events that inspire customers to engage with and learn about our products
- Collaborate with store leaders to achieve sales targets and KPIs, exhibiting a continuous improvement mindset
- Advocate for education and empower store team members with knowledge sharing and product coaching
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role and a track record of creating memorable customer experiences
- Knowledge of wine and a willingness to continue learning and supporting others in their discovery
- Ability to work in peak customer hours and represent the company at industry events
- WSET Level 2 or equivalent industry experience
