About This Role

This is a key position that plays a critical role in delivering asset care and planning for safe, reliable, and cost-effective outcomes. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the availability and reliability of plant and equipment to meet forecast production volume requirements.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and execution of inspection and maintenance work to support reliable delivery to customers via the maintenance team and external contractors.
  • Ongoing improvement in plant availability and efficiency of spend in conjunction with the Operations team.
  • Planning and control of capital works on a 5-year basis.
  • Management of staff and key stakeholders in the delivery of maintenance and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Asset Care Planning: Develop and implement effective asset care plans to ensure the availability and reliability of plant and equipment.
  • Maintenance Management: Manage the maintenance team and external contractors to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
  • Capital Works Planning: Plan and control capital works on a 5-year basis to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated Experience: Proven experience in maintenance management and planning, or similar, and people management with exposure to a multi-site, heavy/industrial business.
  • Maintenance Management Systems: Proficiency with maintenance management systems, ideally Maximo, including annual maintenance plan development/budgeting, trend analysis, and improvement planning.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong project management skills with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Ability to manage maintenance and spare parts vendors effectively.
