ACE Training is a leading provider of heavy machinery and construction training in regional Victoria. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality training, we are seeking experienced and professional Trainer/Assessors to join our team.

The Role

We are looking for skilled and experienced Trainer/Assessors to facilitate Dogging, Rigging (Basic & Intermediate), and Crane specialisms. The successful candidate will have a proven background in lifting operations and a passion for sharing their knowledge with others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)
  • Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulations
  • Supervise students' behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training
  • Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
  • Travel may be required to deliver training off-site
  • Perform other general duties as required
Requirements
  • Cert IV TAE (plus upgrade units if required)
  • Possess a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
  • Demonstrated Lifting Operations experience within the construction/ civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectors
  • Be accredited by WorkSafe as an Individual Assessor (or ability to gain accreditation, if applicable)
  • Be eligible to obtain a Working Children Check Card and a Police Check
  • You will need to be an Australian Resident
  • Must hold valid Australian Drivers Licence
