Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team on a 10-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately forecasting SKU-level sales and ensuring the right level of stock is purchased to meet customer demands. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to develop and maintain accurate SKU-level forecasts
  • Ensure product life cycles are correctly maintained to launch new products in a timely manner, phase out end-of-life products, and manage product substitutions effectively
  • Utilize MRP analysis and Futur Master Forecasting Tool to build an 18-month forecast plan
  • Measure and analyze sales forecast accuracy using metrics such as MAPE and BIAS
  • Coordinate sea and air shipments with freight forwarders and central logistics teams

Requirements:

For this demanding role, we are looking for individuals with prior experience in FMCG or retail supply chain planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, are essential. Experience with FuturMaster, Navision, or SAP is desirable but not mandatory.
