About this role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our community.

  • Manage the daily operations of the community, ensuring high standards in cleanliness, maintenance, resident satisfaction, and occupancy.
  • Prepare and serve quality meals, manage stock and food safety, and maintain a clean, compliant kitchen and dining area.
  • Foster a welcoming environment, support social activities, and build positive relationships with residents while respecting their privacy.
  • Lead and support staff, provide feedback, manage rosters, and ensure contractors meet service expectations.
  • Handle tenancy paperwork, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to legislation, policies, and safety standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A current First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain), and a valid 'C' class driver's licence.
  • Proven ability to manage staff, give constructive feedback, and communicate effectively with residents and stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making skills, ability to respond to emergencies, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Passion for cooking in volume, understanding of HACCP and food safety standards, and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
  • Self-motivated, well-presented, able to work unsupervised, and collaborate positively with the broader team.
