Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced confectionery operator to join our team in a world-class manufacturing facility.

Job Description: As a confectionery operator, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art chocolate moulding line equipment, ensuring quality control and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, organising packing staff on end-of-belt packing, following set recipes and methods to create chocolates, mixing/blending of ingredients to make fillings ready for depositing, following a production schedule, consistent heavy lifting up to 25kg, clean down of machinery and line changeover, paperwork and traceability, stock ordering.

Responsibilities:

  • Operation of high-tech confectionery equipment.
  • Ensuring high-quality products through strict adherence to GMP guidelines.
  • Organising and coordinating the packing process.
  • Preparing and creating chocolates according to established recipes.
  • Mixing and blending ingredients for fillings.
  • Following production schedules and deadlines.
  • Performing manual handling tasks with emphasis on safety and ergonomics.
  • Cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Administrative tasks related to inventory management and tracking.

Requirements:

  • Background in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food and FMCG.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail with high standards of quality control.
  • Able to adapt to changing production requirements.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks.
