Job Title: Senior Design Technician

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead digital delivery projects and design work, including developing BIM models and engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of DEXP and ability to contribute to LOD discussions.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading digital delivery projects and design work, including developing BIM models and engineering drawings. They will also be required to liaise with design teams, understand project schedules, and ensure QA review processes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be working with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up projects and work with engineers to manage and deliver multi-disciplinary projects
  • Knowledge of Australian standards and client standards
  • Proven understanding of DEXP and ability to contribute to LOD discussions
  • Proficient in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Projectwise, Revizto, and Navisworks
  • Proven leadership of medium to large water infrastructure and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Consultancy experience with excellent communication skills
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in water treatment and conveyance systems, 3D modelling, drafting, design, and delivery
  • Advanced experience with 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, or similar modeling tools)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with others and manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Problem-solving skills to find ways to overcome challenges
