Junior Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a talented and analytical professional to play a key role in supporting our Palletised and Intermodal and Specialised businesses.

Job Description:

As a Junior Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing pricing data and delivering customised pricing solutions to inform customer contract negotiations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive improved business performance through pricing elements of customer contracts for assigned Team Global Express portfolios.
  • Apply value-based pricing strategies across Team Global Express.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to ensure profitable contracts.
  • Evaluate current and future costs for assessing customer contract profitability.
  • Maintain commercial/standard contract terms associated with price offers.
  • Approve pricing levels for customer deals and cross-business proposals.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Business, Accounting or Mathematics.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (VBA a plus).
  • Comfortable working with large datasets in a data-driven analytics environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to deliver insightful commentary.
  • Knowledge of yield management, profitability modelling and product performance analysis techniques (preferably in transport, logistics or network-based businesses).
