Senior Risk Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Risk and Controls Associate to join our organization in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a business risk and control team supporting risk management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading enhancements to and execution of the bank's enterprise and operational risk programs, including RCSA, new products, and initiatives, change management, operational loss reporting and analytics, issue management, and scenario analysis.
Collaboration with front line units and stakeholders is crucial to ensure program design from a risk management perspective.
Oversight, guidance, and challenge will be provided to front line units to ensure adherence with program requirements.
Integration of operational risk programs and data into the bank's GRC tool will also be supported.
Risk reporting and risk data analysis will be developed on an ongoing basis.
Presentations and reports will be developed to support internal and external audits.
Risk management training and roles/responsibilities materials will be created to be communicated across the three lines of defense.
Requirements- 5+ years' experience in the financial services industry with three or more years in Risk and Controls at a large bank.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects successfully.
- Experience with operational losses.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools a plus.
