Job Summary:
">- We are seeking a Principal Stakeholder Relationship Officer to lead local engagement for the Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water ensuring community voices are heard and reflected in government policy and program delivery.
">Key Responsibilities:">
- Drive regional engagement, strengthening local partnerships and ensuring community, industry, and council perspectives are heard in government decision-making
- Coordinate place-based engagement planning, support regional events and forums, and provide strategic advice and analysis on local development issues, government programs, and emerging opportunities
- Play a lead role in facilitating Ministerial visits, supporting Cabinet submissions and representing the department at community and industry forums

- Strong strategic communication skills, experience in government or regional development, and a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable navigating complex issues and confident working across a broad range of stakeholders, including local councils, Traditional Owners, business leaders and senior executives
