About The Position

We have an opportunity for a Team Lead Electrical Engineer. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will have a vital part in supporting the team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance, expertise, and mentorship to the electrical engineering team.
  • Lead by example and inspire the team to deliver high-quality electrical designs and solutions.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including EIC equipment.
  • Drive innovation by staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of all electrical designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical insights and ensure successful project outcomes.

About You

  • Bachelor of Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the resources and related sectors.
  • Exposure to PLC/SCADA systems and industrial/substations communications.
  • Profound knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to the scope of work.
  • Expertise in power and grounding principles, along with low voltage substation design.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems/equipment installation and maintenance for mining plant operations.
  • Client-focused with exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in project engineering and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
