About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Amazon Australia. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and developing new business across various categories, including Fashion, Home & Leisure, and Consumer Electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Account Management: Recruit and onboard new sellers, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to launch.
  2. C-Suite Negotiations: Drive C-suite negotiations and consult retailers on selling opportunities.
  3. Seller Enablement: Enable sellers to effectively use Amazon's tools and systems.
  4. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, driving their growth on Amazon.
  5. Business Growth: Achieve business and financial objectives, driving growth in Amazon's third-party business.
  6. Market Insights: Identify and implement scalable solutions to enhance the marketplace for all sellers.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate on projects to improve customer and seller experience.
  8. Market Intelligence: Provide market insights to internal teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent.
  • Experience managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting roles.
