Position Overview

As an E&I Technician, you will report directly to a Maintenance Supervisor and be stationed at a key operational site, providing support to various locations in the region. Your role will involve being part of a dedicated team of UGL technicians, with responsibilities that encompass:

  • Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of fuel installation assets and associated equipment.
  • Performing diagnostics and repairs in a breakdown context for fuel-related assets and machinery.
  • Engaging in project work as necessary on fuel installations and related systems.
  • Assisting with subcontracted work packages as needed.
  • Providing support across multiple sites in the region, with occasional travel requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player, demonstrating commitment and leveraging their diverse skill set to achieve high-quality results for UGL and our clients. We expect applicants to possess the following qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Instrumentation and an A-grade electrical license, complemented by relevant post-trade experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance, preferably within fuel services or the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Training in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) is essential.
  • Certifications for confined space entry and working at heights are highly regarded.
  • A strong commitment to safety in all operational aspects.
  • Current possession or the ability to obtain the necessary Defence Security Clearance.
