We are dedicated to building stronger, more connected communities. As a Community Development Officer, you will work closely with a team in newly developed communities to identify needs and implement programs.
About the role:
- Lead projects and social support groups, collaborating with local organizations to create sustainable solutions.
You will oversee volunteer recruitment, coordination, and support for key programs.
This is a part-time opportunity, requiring 18 hours per fortnight, plus the potential for additional hours.
The successful candidate will receive the Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award Level 4 and an hourly rate of $44.58 - $47.97 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Additionally, you will be eligible for excellent salary packaging, which can provide up to $18,550 of your gross pay tax-free for eligible expense items.
You will also have access to structured performance and development check-ins, free onsite parking, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
An online learning management system with access to thousands of courses on professional development, wellbeing, and compliance is also available.
You will be part of a vibrant team that truly supports each other and is dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of clients in newly developed communities.
