Meat Trade Training Opportunity">

This is an excellent chance to begin your career in the meat industry with hands-on training and support. As a Butcher Apprentice, you will be trained by experienced butchers and gain valuable skills including cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products.

  • Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products
  • Safe use and maintenance of knives and butchery equipment
  • Food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards
  • Customer service and effective communication
  • Stock control and product presentation
  • Working as part of a professional and supportive team

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about learning a trade in a dynamic retail environment. You will have a genuine interest in butchery as a long-term career, willingness to learn and follow instructions, good communication and teamwork skills, commitment to safe and hygienic work practices, punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude, and availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends.
