Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work closely with occupational therapists to enable patients to improve their participation in occupations.

This is a part-time permanent ongoing position, working two days a week. You will work with patients and clients every day to complete therapy as delegated by the occupational therapists that meet individual patient goals from patients with diverse backgrounds.

The role includes completing occupational based interventions that make a difference to patient's everyday lives, referrals to and liaison with community services, providing assistive equipment, and providing non-clinical support to the occupational therapy department.

As an occupational therapy assistant, you will have the opportunity to engage patients in the participation of their treatment journey, utilizing your strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualification aligned to the position description
  • A Victorian drivers licence
