Company OverviewThe hospital is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. It provides services to a population of approximately 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds. The Emergency Department treats around 70,000 patients annually, with approximately 25% being pediatric cases. Additionally, it operates a 20-bed Emergency Medical Unit.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration
- At least 12 months recent experience as an O&G Registrar in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada, NZ, or South Africa
- Possession of RANZCOG training program status
- IMGs with a scheduled RANZCOG interview date
- IMGs assessed by RANZCOG and found to be partially or substantially comparable
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000-$180,000 AUD, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the hospital offers a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
