Salary PackageThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package up to $550,000 per annum, including:
- A base salary commensurate with experience
- A fully maintained private plated motor vehicle (subject to working full-time hours) or an allowance in lieu of $28,389 pro rata per annum, paid fortnightly (with CPI indexation on 1 July each year)
- A Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,480 pro rata per annum
- A relocation allowance and on-call allowance % of Base Salary
In addition, the successful candidate will have access to a range of benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking interest from suitably qualified Consultants/Specialists – Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide specialist emergency services to adult and paediatric patients.
You will be joining a dedicated Emergency Medicine Department in a 550-bed tertiary referral Hospital, a state-of-the-art health facility with modern equipment and facilities.
The successful candidate will work up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible, and will be required to provide cover for emergencies and routine cases.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to hold specialist registration with AHPRA FACEM or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand.
You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
