Job Title: Resident Medical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Resident Medical Officer to join our team in providing quality patient care in a complex clinical environment.

  • This role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including Gosford, Wyong, Woy Woy, and Long Jetty Hospitals.
  • RMOs will have the chance to undertake terms (rotations) in specialties such as Anaesthetics, Intensive Care Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, General Medicine, and more.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and independently in a supervised clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and solve problems

About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic clinical environment.

  • You will work under supervision to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages presenting in any condition.

You will have the opportunity to work at different facilities and locations within the NSW public health system, including multiple hospitals on the Central Coast.
