Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Customer Fulfillment Operations team at our Horsley Park site. As a leader, you'll inspire and support your teams to deliver exceptional results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, promoting a positive culture, and ensuring compliance.
  • Overseeing the overall safety, quality, and performance of Inbound or Outbound operations, driving continuous improvement.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on specific processes, such as 5S audits, and implementing best practices across the facility.
  • Managing inventory control and systems, collecting timely data, and updating operations metrics on an hourly basis.
  • Developing and executing quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and Lean projects to enhance business performance.
  • Setting productivity targets, reducing costs, eliminating errors, and delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Measuring performance, providing feedback, and holding team members accountable for their performance.
  • Collaborating with other support teams on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels.
  • Sharing best practices across departments, shifts, and the network.

You'll be responsible for managing a team of Operations Managers and their direct reports, with a focus on inspiring and motivating them to achieve their best work.

In addition to your leadership skills, you'll bring a strong background in operational management, preferably in a fast-growing company or industry. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies would be highly advantageous.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in leading large, diverse teams, with a proven track record of employee and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage details and analyze data.
  • A willingness to relocate if necessary and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
