The estimated salary for this role is around $130,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Customer Fulfillment Operations team at our Horsley Park site. As a leader, you'll inspire and support your teams to deliver exceptional results.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, promoting a positive culture, and ensuring compliance.
- Overseeing the overall safety, quality, and performance of Inbound or Outbound operations, driving continuous improvement.
- Becoming a subject matter expert on specific processes, such as 5S audits, and implementing best practices across the facility.
- Managing inventory control and systems, collecting timely data, and updating operations metrics on an hourly basis.
- Developing and executing quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and Lean projects to enhance business performance.
- Setting productivity targets, reducing costs, eliminating errors, and delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Measuring performance, providing feedback, and holding team members accountable for their performance.
- Collaborating with other support teams on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels.
- Sharing best practices across departments, shifts, and the network.
You'll be responsible for managing a team of Operations Managers and their direct reports, with a focus on inspiring and motivating them to achieve their best work.
In addition to your leadership skills, you'll bring a strong background in operational management, preferably in a fast-growing company or industry. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies would be highly advantageous.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in leading large, diverse teams, with a proven track record of employee and performance management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage details and analyze data.
- A willingness to relocate if necessary and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
