Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Customer Fulfillment Operations team at our brand new site in Horsley Park.

About the Role:
  • Deliver inspiring, supportive leadership for the teams you manage.
  • Rollling up your sleeves and getting involved whenever necessary.

You will be directly responsible for managing a team of Operations Managers and their direct reports. Your leadership skills will motivate and inspire your teams to do their best work, while planning schedules and activities that balance their needs with that of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area.
  • Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
  • Become a subject matter expert on specific, larger-scale processes and activities within FCs.
  • Manage timely data collection, updating operations metrics on an hourly basis.
  • Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives.
  • Achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers.
  • Measures performance, provides feedback, and holds Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.
  • Work closely with other support teams on staffing plans, schedules and performance levels.
  • Takes proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar, innovative logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in leading large, diverse teams.
  • Experience in employee and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage details, establish and carry out root cause analysis, and then extract and analyse the data you generate.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary.
Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum
