The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to support our AH-64E Apache helicopter program. The Australian Apaches will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries.

This role is based in Townsville, working alongside BDA and Australian Army members. As the Warehouse Operator, you will:

  • Be a vital part of our Supply Chain Capability and contribute to our business growth strategy.
  • Handle, store and distribute Defence aviation materiel.
  • Ensure compliance with our safe warehouse operation policy.
  • Support disposal recommendations and action as required.
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy.
  • Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting our supply chain.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated 3 to 5 years+ experience in Defence aerospace/FMS supply chain management.
  • Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies.
  • A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual and the application of warehousing principles.
  • A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP.
  • The ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence.
