Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our Distribution Services division in the APAC region.
This role will be responsible for managing a team of service professionals, providing leadership, management, and direction to ensure customer satisfaction and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Service team in the APAC region, overseeing Service sales, Contract management, Spare part management, RMR sales, Warranty & Quality, Field Service, Subcontractors, etc.
- Collaborate with other regional Service leaders to ensure aligned operations across the region, sharing resources effectively.
- Manage stakeholder relationships up to senior management at both customer and partner levels.
- Continuously develop the Service proposition within the region.
- Identify and create new business opportunities with distribution customers to grow the Service business and team.
- Support the ramp-up of new Service contracts.
- Implement Life Cycle Plans for key regional customers.
- Handle escalation of incidents (external & internal).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of international service management experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, people management skills, and strong communication abilities to develop long-term relationships.
- Background in automated handling systems, capital goods industry, or system integration, understanding system criticality.
- Experience working with third-party service providers and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of service contracts is advantageous.
- Technical or Commercial Master's degree.
- Strong customer focus and service orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Willingness to travel within APAC and to HQ (up to 40%).
- Drive for continuous improvement, commercially minded, and team-building skills.
Work Pattern:
Daytime hours with availability for major escalations outside office hours.
