Key Selection Criteria
  1. Demonstrate proven ability to lead award-winning programs and implement program improvements and innovative approaches to student-centred learning and quality improvement initiatives.
  2. Exhibit a nationally recognized research track record, including substantial records of research outputs in high-quality outlets and emerging international recognition in construction management, digital transformation in construction, and building engineering.
  3. Bring extensive experience in research leadership, building and developing collaborative research teams, mentoring academic staff, attracting external research funding, managing funded research projects, and supervising higher degree by research candidates.
  4. Supervise higher degree by research candidates to maximize research performance and drive growth.
  5. Effectively manage and supervise academic teams and members, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  6. Understand and commit to financial, governance, and quality management systems within a university, ensuring seamless operations.
  7. Possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills to consult with senior executives, produce executive reports, negotiate agreed directions, outcomes, and targets within a collaborative environment.
  8. Contribute as an effective member of a management team that develops and achieves shared goals and objectives.
Mandatory Qualifications

PhD in Civil Engineering is required.
