Empowering Professionals for Inclusive Employment

Our organization plays a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment.
We empower our clients by identifying their goals and aspirations, building skills and job-readiness, and supporting them through interviews and into employment.
As an Allied Health Professional, you will conduct assessments, undertake therapeutic interventions, facilitate groups, and provide recommendations to vocational and non-vocational services.
- This is a permanent opportunity working full-time hours with flexible working arrangements.
Key duties include:
- Conducting assessments of candidates with disabilities and barriers to employment;
- Offering counselling interventions using various psychological methodologies;
- Referring candidates to external support services to address barriers;
- Evaluating assessments and monitoring case progress;
- Coordinating with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates;
- Providing training and guidance to staff on psychological services and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Counselling, or eligibility for membership with ACA / PACFA;
- Experience in employment services is highly regarded but not essential;
- Knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention strategies;
- Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills;
- Ability to produce accurate and articulate case reports;
- Ability to work towards positive client outcomes;
- Ability to provide a Police Clearance (within 6 months) and a Working with Children Check.
