Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high levels of tidiness and presentation of premises, ensuring recyclable materials are processed correctly and meet contractual requirements.
  • Inspect loads entering the waste facility to direct drivers to recycling areas.
  • Assist drivers and customers to unload contents and advise on disposal methods.
  • Provide instructions for material separation to ensure safety requirements are met.
  • Comfortable with physical work, repetitive bending, and moving furniture.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice, including weekend work.
  • Licence and own transport recommended due to multiple site locations.
  • Attention to detail when sorting and safely stacking items.
  • Superb customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to move and lift items assisting customers to unload and move contents.
  • Will to work with minimal supervision, respecting others.
  • Passion for recycling, reusing, and upcycling.
  • Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (formerly Yellow Card).
  • Fit 2 Work National Police Check.
