Your primary focus will be on driving new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships across SME Marine, Commercial Motor & Business portfolios. You'll partner with a range of stakeholders to enhance financial objectives and proactively deliver Zurich's value proposition into the market.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Creating and Executing Strategies for business development of your portfolio to achieve growth targets, operational and financial goals
  • Developing Strategies to achieve predetermined new business and renewal retention targets in conjunction with underwriting guidelines and delegated authority
  • Maintaining High Levels of Client Contact to generate growth opportunities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing and Maintaining a Pipeline of business development and leads through identification and connection of new partnerships and the development of new markets

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in Underwriting and a strong understanding of Broker networks
  • Knowledge of Marine, Commercial Motor business, including relevant Legislation and Regulations governing General Insurance products
  • Tertiary Qualifications, ANZIIF, Insurance certification will be highly regarded
  • Ability to Deliver Risk Management Decisions and strategies
  • Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Customer Centric Focus and ability to work in an agile environment
