
Sales Development Specialist

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the scrap metal industry's sustainability efforts. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a portfolio of existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong sales or account management experience, with a proven ability to influence outcomes with various stakeholder groups. Experience in the scrap metal recycling and other waste and recycling industries is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing rapport with customers to tailor our products and service offerings to their specific needs
- Prioritizing work demands to manage customer retention and satisfaction
- Negotiating quotes taking into account bespoke customer requirements
- Ensuring compliance to ACCC and Trade Practices in all customer and contractor interactions
- Supporting the 'Goal Zero' strategy through safe working practices
- Strong experience in sales or account management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to identify opportunities for growth or improvement across a complex business
- Time management and project planning skills
