Job Description

We are seeking a suitably qualified educator committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of students in their care.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic classroom practitioner, familiar with the Victorian Curriculum, who is able to collaborate with others as part of a team to improve learning outcomes for all students.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of contemporary learning and how to positively impact student learning
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and nurture students in fostering a lifelong love of learning

Other Requirements

Applicants must have provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School or a commitment to complete this within five years. A current employer/Principal must also provide one of the required referee references.
