Job Title: Teacher of High-Quality Education

St Brigid's is a school located in the Yarra Valley region, 20 minutes from Lilydale and 10 minutes from Yarra Glen.

The school has a strong focus on developing students through high-quality programs and small class sizes, creating an environment conducive to learning.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic educator with experience in teaching the Victorian Curriculum, who can work collaboratively as part of a team to improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure commitment to the Catholic Ethos of education and to the wellbeing of all students.
  • Develop professional relationships with students, staff and parents through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enhance student learning by possessing a strong understanding and working knowledge of contemporary teaching methods.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Inspire and nurture students to foster a lifelong love of learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School or a commitment to complete this within five years.
  • Strong commitment to child safety and best practices.
  • Three referees, including a current employer/Principal.
