About the Role

As a Home Care Support Worker with HammondCare At Home, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults to live independently in their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by providing essential care and support services.

Job Description

This permanent part-time position involves delivering high-quality care to clients across Port Macquarie and surrounding suburbs. You will be responsible for providing personal care, assistance with daily living activities, and transportation to appointments. Your goal will be to empower clients to maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care, including showering and dressing
  • Assisting with meal preparation and light house cleaning
  • Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Administering medication (if required)
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in aged or community care is desirable, but not essential. We encourage individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on people's lives to apply.

Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (with minimum third-party property insurance)
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The ability to work flexibly and respond to changing client needs
