About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back of House Supervisor to join our team at JD Sports Australia. As a key member of our store opening team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our new store.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily and weekly tasks, including reporting, handling deliveries, and maintaining the order and tidiness of the back of house area.
  2. Manage Back of House Assistants, ensuring all KPIs are met, stock levels are replenished, and products are priced and tagged correctly.
  3. Plan and manage stock deliveries, ensuring deadlines are met and stock levels are maintained.
  4. Effectively manage stock levels by department, brand, and style.
  5. Coordinate Stock Take with the Store Manager, Profit Protection, and the Back of House Team.
  6. Ensure Back of House standards are maintained in line with company expectations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar position within retail or a like industry.
  • Experience working in a Back of House or Warehouse environment is favourable, but not essential.
  • Experience managing and coaching a team.
  • Maintains a positive can-do attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Strong operational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Openly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals.
  • An ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself, your career, and learn new skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers.
