Role Overview

The role of Clinical Manager is critical in delivering high-quality care to the elderly population. This position involves leading a team within a Home Neighborhood, ensuring sound clinical governance and effective operations while fostering a relationship-centred environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the effective operation of the Neighbourhood, reflecting resident preferences and providing leadership and coaching to all neighbourhood team members. They will also ensure high-quality clinical care is provided to residents with a proactive focus on safety.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals within a Home Neighborhood
  • Maintain sound clinical governance and effective operations
  • Foster a relationship-centred environment
  • Oversee the effective operation of the Neighbourhood
  • Provide leadership and coaching to all neighbourhood team members
  • Ensure high-quality clinical care is provided to residents
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Nursing qualification
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Key Skills and Abilities:
  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong customer-centric approach and relationship building skills
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in relationship-based care
  • Strong coaching/training skills with the ability to positively influence other healthcare workers
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality standards
