Project Manager - Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of various infrastructure projects across roads, reserves, buildings, and other public facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering principles, and contract administration.

About the Role

The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This involves coordinating with internal stakeholders, managing contractors, and monitoring progress to ensure contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinating with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered to the required specifications.
  • Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including timesheets, invoices, and correspondence.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in municipal infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, including design, construction, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
