Job Opportunity

This is a part-time Therapeutic Clinician role located in Echuca. You will work within a supportive team and broader consortium to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver healing interventions.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to adult victim-survivors and their children using modalities such as EMDR, narrative therapy, and art/play therapy.

  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Deliver trauma-informed support and facilitate group programs and individual counselling sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated care.
About the Role

As a Therapeutic Clinician, you will be working within a region-wide partnership of specialist organisations committed to safety, empowerment, and long-term wellbeing for women and children.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality therapeutic services to adult victim-survivors and their children.

  • Assess needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide trauma-informed support and facilitate group programs and individual counselling sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated care.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in therapeutic work with adults and children.
  • A strong understanding of feminist principles and the gendered nature of family violence.
