Safeguarding Lives

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate clinician to provide high-quality therapeutic services to adult victim-survivors and their children, working within a supportive team and broader consortium.

• Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic support using modalities such as EMDR, narrative therapy, and art/play therapy to address the complex needs of clients.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that meet the unique requirements of each client.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment through group programs and individual counselling sessions, ensuring the well-being of all clients.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement, enhancing the overall effectiveness of services.

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field, with a strong foundation in theoretical frameworks and practical applications.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in therapeutic work with adults and children, demonstrating expertise in evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrated understanding of feminist principles and the gendered nature of family violence, with a commitment to addressing these issues in practice.
• Ambitious to promote cultural safety and inclusion, especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and diverse communities, ensuring equitable access to services.
