The Centre for Non-Violence in Echuca is seeking a Therapeutic Clinician to join their team as part of the Safe, Thriving & Connected initiative. The successful candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to adult victim-survivors and their children using evidence-based modalities.

Job Description

This is an ongoing, part-time role with a 0.8 FTE (30.4 hours per week) commitment. As a Therapeutic Clinician, you'll work within a supportive team and broader consortium to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver healing interventions that foster resilience and recovery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in therapeutic work with adults and children.
  • Strong understanding of feminist principles and the gendered nature of family violence.
  • Commitment to cultural safety and inclusion, especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and diverse communities.

About the Role

Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic support to adult victim survivors using modalities such as EMDR, narrative therapy, and art/play therapy. Conduct specialised assessments and develop tailored treatment plans. Facilitate group programs and individual counselling sessions. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated care.
