IT Service Management Professional

You will play a vital role in delivering and improving IT service management practices for the agency ICT services branch. This position offers autonomy and the opportunity to contribute expertise in practices such as release management, change enablement, and problem management.

The role is based in Midland office with options for remote work after training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, document, and categorize practice work items
  • Engage with technical owners and stakeholders to resolve practice work items efficiently
  • Report on practice operations and performance
  • Implement continuous improvements to practice capability and performance
  • Support other directorates and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT service management with a focus on ITIL-based practices
  • Experience working in collaborative team environments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to meeting work targets and standards
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in related IT practices
  • Technical documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Atlassian JIRA Service Desk/Confluence
  • Previous experience in government environments
