Job Opportunity

A site manager is required for a mining site at Lake Vermont near Dysart QLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality solutions and results collaboratively
  • Drive performance in planning, operational discipline, relationship management, safety programs, people development, and business improvement projects
  • Ensure the safe and effective delivery of total production, commercial, technical services, and maintenance accountabilities
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering highly desirable
  • Experience at senior management level from a mining contractor's perspective
  • Strong communication skills essential
  • Proven understanding of large-scale coal mining including people management, plant optimization, planning, scheduling, cost control, and problem-solving
  • Good working knowledge of HME Plant Operation/Maintenance and Mining Operational Efficiency
  • Financial and Commercial Acumen with a focus on unit rate performance
